As calls are growing for 'Made in India' digital tools, Reliance Jio has launched a free video-conferencing application called JioMeet, taking on US-based Zoom platform.Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio has officially announced the launch of Jio-Meet. The HD video conferencing app, which can be used for 1:1 video calls and hosting meetings with up to 100 participants with enterprise-grade host controls.Other highlights include easy sign up with either mobile number or email ID, meeting in HD audio and video quality.The application can be used for creating instant meetings to chat with friends and also to schedule a meeting in advance and share meeting details with invitees.JioMeet offers unlimited meetings per day and each meeting can go uninterrupted up to 24 hours.The application can be used on Android, Windows, iOS, Mac, SIP/H.323 systems.JioMeet has already been downloaded for over 10,000 times from Google Play Store.Each meeting is password protected and the host can enable a "Waiting Room" to ensure no participant joins without permission, said Jio-Meet


Though the App has various Advantages, As per the public view the Application's UI looks quite similar to the Zoom Application.But when it comes under privacy its far good when compared to Zoom and we Indians can be happy as the data is stored in our Country and is with our Country's Man

Safari to support password-less logins

Safari 14, the version of Apple’s browser that will ship with iOS 14 and macOS Big Sur, will let you use Face ID or Touch ID to log in to websites built to support the feature. The functionality was confirmed in the browser’s beta release notes, and Apple has detailed how the feature works in a WWDC video for developers. The functionality is built on the Web Authn component of the FIDO2 standard, developed by the FIDO Alliance. It should make logging into a website as easy as logging into an app secured with Touch ID or Face ID.WebAuthn is an API that aims to make web logins simpler and more secure. Unlike passwords, which are often easily guessed and vulnerable to phishing attacks, WebAuthn uses public key cryptography and can use security methods like biometrics or hardware security keys to verify your identity. Microsoft to Phase out Support for legacy browser Internet Explorer in Upcoming year

From the upcoming year, Microsoft 365 apps and services will no longer support Internet Explorer. Microsoft is bidding farewell to Internet Explorer 11 as well as Microsoft Edge Legacy. The company will be withdrawing support for the browser in a phased manner. Starting November 30, the Microsoft Teams web app will no longer support Internet Explorer 11. By August 17, 2021, the browser will no longer be supported by the remaining Microsoft 365 apps and services. Meanwhile, it is also ending support for the Microsoft Edge Legacy desktop app on March 9, 2021. After this date, the desktop app will no longer receive new security updates. Microsoft has reportedly been planning to cut support for the Internet Explorer brand for quite some time now, a move which first became apparent in 2015 with the company rolling out the new Edge browser under the codename 'Project Spartan'.
