Dark Mode in Google Docs,Sheets and Slides Available on Android now

Google is rolling out a dark mode for its Docs, Sheets, and Slides apps on Android starting today.

Google says all Android users will gain access to the dark theme within the next two weeks. Users can activate the dark theme on Docs, Sheets, or Slides by going to the respective app’s settings.They also says that the apps will automatically use your system theme, meaning if your device already has dark theme enabled, you will not have to enable it manually in these apps.

Last year, Google promised to deliver dark mode to all of its first-party apps. It’s slowly added dark mode to a number of apps in the year since, including the Google app, Gmail, and Google Calendar, though some apps such as Google Maps do not have dark mode on iOS. Microsoft to Phase out Support for legacy browser Internet Explorer in Upcoming year

From the upcoming year, Microsoft 365 apps and services will no longer support Internet Explorer. Microsoft is bidding farewell to Internet Explorer 11 as well as Microsoft Edge Legacy. The company will be withdrawing support for the browser in a phased manner. Starting November 30, the Microsoft Teams web app will no longer support Internet Explorer 11. By August 17, 2021, the browser will no longer be supported by the remaining Microsoft 365 apps and services. Meanwhile, it is also ending support for the Microsoft Edge Legacy desktop app on March 9, 2021. After this date, the desktop app will no longer receive new security updates. Microsoft has reportedly been planning to cut support for the Internet Explorer brand for quite some time now, a move which first became apparent in 2015 with the company rolling out the new Edge browser under the codename 'Project Spartan'.

Foxconn to invest $1 Billion in India for manufacturing Apple's Iphone

Foxconn plans to invest up to $1 billion to expand a factory in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu where the Taiwanese contract manufacturer assembles Apple iPhones. "There's a strong request from Apple to its clients to move part of the iPhone production out of China," Foxconn's planned investment in the Sriperumbudur plant, where Apple's iPhone XR is made some 50 km west of Chennai, will take place over the course of three years, the second source said.Some of Apple's other iPhones models,made by Foxconn in China,Will be made at the plant.Taipei-headquartered Foxconn will add some 6,000 jobs at the Sriperumbudur plant under the plan.
