  • huawei
  • infinix
  • techno
  • motorola
Which leave only brands like South Korea's Samsung an LG,Taiwanese ASUS,US Apple,Finland-based Nokia and japan's Panasonic as the prominent players in the Indian Smartphone Market. It should be noted that Foxconn — which has significant operations in China — is an investor in Finland’s HMD Global through its subsidiary FIH Mobile Limited; Foxconn is based in Taiwan and FIH Mobile is registered in the Cayman Islands. So, we looked at brands headquartered outside China that operate in the Indian smartphone market to check out what options we have left if Chinese brands are removed from the equation. This is what the Indian market looks like without Chinese smartphone companies:

TOP NON-CHINA PHONES UNDER Rs10,000
  • Samsung Galaxy M10s
  • Samsung Galaxy A10s
  • Nokia2.3
  • LG W30
  • Panasonic Eluga  Ray 610
Tha budget segment of India is dominated by Xiaomi and Realme ,though Samsung has made some inroads there .If we remove popular offerings of chinese brands like Realme Narzo 10A,Realme C3 and Redmi 8A dual we are only left with Samsung Galaxy M10s. Samsung Galaxy A10s,Nokia 2.3 etc

TOP NON-CHINA PHONES UNDER 20,000
  • Samsung Galaxy M31
  • Samsung Galaxy M21
  • Nokia 7.2
  • LG W30 Pro
As for the affordable segments of India, you will be looking for smartphones like POCO X2,Realme 6 series and Redmi note 9 Series. But right now if your are looking for Non-chinese Smartphones under 20000 the alternatives are Samsung Galaxy M31,Samsung Galaxy M21,Nokia 7.2,LG w30 Pro

  • Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite
  • Iphone 8 Series
  • ASUS 6Z
  • ASUS Rog Phone 2
  • Google Pixel 3A
  • Nokia 9 pureView
The Choice from Non-Chinese brands increase in number substantially in this segment Oneplus,Vivo,Oppo,Realme,Redmi offer a lot of Smartphones in the Rs21,000 to Rs40,000
segment. But these phone has enough Alternative to choose form Non-chinese Brands like Samsungs Note10 Series ,Iphone 8 Series. Google May also launch its 'series in upcoming month but for Now Google  has Pixel 3A to buy

TOP NON-CHINA PREMIUM PHONES
  • IPHONE 11 Series
  • IPHONE SE 2020
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 Series
  • LG G8X ThinQ
  • Google Pixel 3XL
The Flagship Segment has fewer offerings from china so your option won't be limited in this Segment. You can Buy Iphone SE or Samsung's S20 Series instead of oneplus 8 Series and Mi10 series.

So this is what the indian market looks without Chinese Companies. It has fewer good choice in Budget Segment and Mid-range segments and wider choices in premium category
Many of these Non-China phones are also include components that are sourced from the country so it will be hard to find Smartphone that is completely made outside  China

Neuralink: Elon Musk unveils pig with chip in its brain

Elon Musk has unveiled a pig called Gertrude with a coin-sized computer chip in her brain to demonstrate his ambitious plans to create a working brain-to-machine interface. "It's kind of like a Fitbit in your skull with tiny wires," the billionaire entrepreneur said on a webcast. His start-up Neuralink applied to launch human trials last year. The interface could allow people with neurological conditions to control phones or computers with their minds. Mr.Musk argues such chips could eventually be used to help cure conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's disease, and spinal cord injuries. But the long-term ambition is to usher in an age of what Mr.Musk calls "superhuman cognition", in part to combat artificial intelligence so powerful he says it could destroy the human race. Elon Musk reveals brain-hacking plans Gertrude was one of three pigs in pens that took part in Friday's webcast demo. She took a while to get going, but when she ate and sniffed ...

Safari to support password-less logins

Safari 14, the version of Apple’s browser that will ship with iOS 14 and macOS Big Sur, will let you use Face ID or Touch ID to log in to websites built to support the feature. The functionality was confirmed in the browser’s beta release notes, and Apple has detailed how the feature works in a WWDC video for developers. The functionality is built on the Web Authn component of the FIDO2 standard, developed by the FIDO Alliance. It should make logging into a website as easy as logging into an app secured with Touch ID or Face ID.WebAuthn is an API that aims to make web logins simpler and more secure. Unlike passwords, which are often easily guessed and vulnerable to phishing attacks, WebAuthn uses public key cryptography and can use security methods like biometrics or hardware security keys to verify your identity. It’s a standard that individual websites need to add support for, but being supported by the stock browser in iOS has the potential to be a major boost for adoption. This isn’...
